            حرف اضافه کلمه elicit معمولاً from هست. شما قراره یه چیزی رو از یه جایی بکشید بیرون.
            (تصمیم گرفتم فارسی جواب بدم تا دوستانی که کمی زبانشون ضعیف تره هم استفاده کنن. از این به بعد سعی می کنم کمی بیشتر فارسی جواب بدم.)

   It’s clear that illicit is an adjective and elicit is a verb, they don’t have any other parts of speechs. Accordingly, I determine the correct answers as follow:
   ۱- Such a question isn’t intended to elicit [needs verb] an answer.
   ۲- The lawyer tries to elicit [same as 1] a description of the attacker from the witness.
   ۳- She admitted to having been in possession of [here only an adjective can be] illicit drugs.
   ۴- My questions elicit no response.

         It doesn’t exist in Cambridge Advanced, but I think it’s correct due to searching in the internet and Babylon.
         Any way, “a great leap of faith” what does it mean? I haven’t seen it before.
